About me

I became an MHFA England Instructor Member after a career in teaching. My experience of being in the classroom and as a senior leader in various schools enabled me to transition into training with ease. Having created, led, and supported mental health hubs in schools I bring with me a wealth of knowledge and skills.

I’m proud to have been asked to be an Associate Instructor for MHFA England after delivering high quality sessions with consistently positive feedback from learners.

I’m passionate that breaking down stigma and increasing understanding surrounding mental health issues is key to a happier and healthier society.
Outside work, I enjoy reading, both playing and watching football, cycling and can sometimes be found on the North East coast. I'm also a proud husband and father to two sons who are growing up fast!
I deliver sessions that are enjoyable and engaging even if they are covering topics that are serious and thought provoking.
